Presidential News Conferences

Presidents have a number of avenues for providing information to the press, and different Presidents use them in various ways. This table shows the number of on-the-record solo news conferences each President has conducted as well as the number of Prime-Time televised conferences, which include those that have been broadcast live in the evening.
